The little boy had his first haircut last May 10. The whole family was at Megamall to celebrate Mother's Day and we passed by Cuts4Tots so we decided to have his hair cut.
Sean was very well behaved and didn't throw any fit while his hair was being cut. Even the barber was impressed.
Here are some pictures...
Before the haircut

During the haircut session
After
It didn't look like there was much of a difference since he just had a trim. But he was less irritable after that :)

WS MemoirMonday: The Day After
Posted by ceztlavie at 10:29 AM

A repost from WifeSpeaks
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
I will always remember the speech that my late father-in-law gave during our wedding.
He said that marriage can be likened to a voyage in the sea where the husband is the captain and the wife is the ship. It will not always be smooth sailing. There will always be strong currents, big waves and storms that we will go through. But whatever happens, the captain should never abandon the ship.
The day after the wedding marks the beginning of a voyage that both the husband and wife will take (hopefully) for the rest of their lives.

Today is FoodieWednesday on WifeSpeaks. And since this week's main topic is Commitment and most of the misis already shared their wedding cake or wedding banquet, I decided to share something else.
These photos were taken during our 5th wedding anniversary date last year. We had lunch at the New Orleans at Bonifacio High Street. Hubby had the Roast Chicken while I had the Blackened Blue Marlin. They were delicious, to say the least!

One day, at a restaurant, the little girl asked for a teaspoon. So we asked for one from the waiter. When the waiter arrived with her teaspoon, the little girl asked,
"Where's my teafork?"

In the car during a long drive...
Me: "Caitlin, can you please behave? You're so kulit!"
Caitlin: "I'm kulit. But I'm not the kulitest!" (i.e., kulit, kuliter, kulitest... get it?!)

While peeking behind a toy binoculars
Caitlin: "Mommy, you look closer"
Me: "Yes, Caitlin, I look closer"
Then she looked through the binoculars from the other end
Caitlin: "Mommy, you now look layo-er!"

WS ChikaTuesday: Commitment - The Proposal
Posted by ceztlavie at 7:19 AM

Just as every girl has imagined what her dream wedding would be, she has also imagined her dream proposal -- a candlelit dinner at a romantic place, being serenaded with beautiful music, her man getting down on one knee, presenting her with a very beautiful diamond ring and asking her to be his forever.
None of that happened for me. No romantic dinner. No music. No kneeling down on one knee. No ring (at least, at the time that he asked).
My (now) husband simply told me, "Let's get married". I felt ready so I said, "Okay, let's". And as they say, the rest is history.
By the way, though it was 5 months late, he still gave me an engagement ring :)
Oh, and he somehow "proposed". A couple of weeks before our wedding, he gave me a Palm Tungsten II as a pre-wedding gift. When I turned it on, it said, "Will you marry me?". I turned to him, smiled and said, "Yes, of course".
How about you, what's your proposal story? Join us here.

As a sign of my love and loyalty
In the name of the Father
And of the Son
And of the Holy Spirit"
These wedding rings are a symbol of our commitment to love and be faithful to each other for as long as we live.
